You’re embarking on a transformative journey in a post-pandemic world evolving into the AI era. This can feel overwhelming, so to me, it means you are truly courageous!
With my guidance, we’ll navigate your prenatal and postpartum journey together. Drawing on 25 years of experience, transformational coaching skills, and in-depth knowledge, I’ll help you:
My role is to empower you to become the expert in what’s right for you and your baby. Together, we’ll create a calm, satisfying, and deeply fulfilling path to parenthood.
Let’s make this journey one of growth, strength, and joy.
I'm a mother to three amazing girls and happily married to a juggler who turned into a software engineer. We relocated to the SF Bay Area in 2001.
I love spending time with my family and our sweet Goldendoodle, Punky, at the beach. My preferred vacation would be to explore a new city I've never been to before. I practice yoga and meditation regularly. I consider labor support tools to be my life support tools. Once a week, I visit the art studio for a mixed media class.
My Experience
Over the past 25 years, I have been honored to support and educate countless expectant individuals while directing two birth resource centers. I am also the founder of the Birth Coach Method, a groundbreaking approach to integrating coaching conversations into perinatal support.
I manifest my client-centered approach by leading more prenatal conversations than usual and learning about your desired experiences and the motivation for choosing them, your beliefs, strengths, challenges, fears, past experiences, and more life aspects that may impact your birth experience and the postpartum period.
My published audiovisual guide, Practicing for an Active Birth, introduces many coping techniques you can practice regularly at Home (See below).
In recent years, I have invested in building the bridge between doulas and medical caregivers and have trained L&D nurses with my workshop "A Pathway to Patient-Centered Care".
